Roberto Firmino suffers injury worry days before Liverpool’s Champions League tie against Barcelona

Jurgen Klopp insists Roberto Firmino’s training injury is “not a big thing” ahead of Liverpool’s Champions League semi-final first-leg clash with Barcelona on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old sustained a muscle injury in training on Thursday and was subsequently ruled out of the Reds’ Premier League game against Huddersfield.
Speaking ahead of the clash at Anfield, the Liverpool manager told Sky Sports News: “After training, he mentioned a little muscle injury. It’s not a big thing but enough to leave him out.”
Liverpool will continue to monitor the Brazilian who has made seven Champions League appearances this season, scoring three times.
Firmino was on the scoresheet twice over the course of two legs during Liverpool’s 6-1 aggregate win over Porto in the quarter-finals.
