Teenager charged with murder after Leyton stabbing

A teenager has been charged with the murder of a 26-year-old man who was stabbed to death in east London.
Spanish-Colombian David Martinez-Valencia collapsed and died in a street in Leyton after being knifed.
The Metropolitan Police said 18-year-old Carlos Rueda Velez has been charged with murder and is due to appear at Thames Magistrates Court later.
Police, paramedics and an air ambulance were called to North Birkbeck Road at around 4.25pm on Wednesday following reports of an incident at an address.
Mr Martinez-Valencia was pronounced dead at the scene.
The force said the investigation is ongoing.
