Seven-year-old boy dies after falling from wall at pub in east London

A seven-year-old boy has died after falling from a wall at a pub in east London.
The Metropolitan Police said officers were called by the London Ambulance Service to the King Harold in Romford shortly after 5.20pm on Tuesday, where they found the youngster with “serious injuries”.
The child – who has not been named – was taken to an east London hospital but was pronounced dead at 6.33pm.
Officers are treating the death as “unexplained” and have referred the incident to the Health and Safety Executive.
A Met police spokesman confirmed: “His next of kin have been informed. The death is currently being treated as unexplained.
“A postmortem examination will be held in due course. The Health and Safety Executive has been informed.”
