Welcome to the official website of Bay Trust Radio. 

We are a community radio station for the patients,staff and visitors to The Westmorland General,The Furness General and The Royal Lancaster Infirmary on belhalf of the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust.
Founded at the Westmorland County Hospital in 1977 until we moved to the Westmorland General Hospital in 1997, we continue to provide a full service of music and news programming 24 hours a day via the Hospedia bedside units on Channel 1 at the WGH and channel 7 at RLI & FGH and also on the NHS local intranet bay wide we also give you the chance to listen on the internet please see below for more details.
Our purpose-built studio's are situated on the Blackhall unit near the main entrance to the Westmorland General Hospital, from where a large team of talented volunteer presenters broadcast original radio shows and visit patients at their bedside. The charity is entirely self-funded and relies on donations and fundraising events.
