There are so many positive things about BTR!
The service to the patients is terrific and I’m sure is a great comfort to many during their hospital stay. And, as a radio professional, I’ve always been impressed with the quality of the programmes and the people who work on them, and the ambition of the station which makes it one of the best in the country.
It’s the dedication of the volunteers that makes all that happen – and there’s a lot of talent there too! It isn’t a surprise that some have come to work at BBC Radio Cumbria. And the organisation is superb and on a different level to anything I’ve seen elsewhere. It really is a hospital radio station to be proud of.
