A Message from Dame Jackie Daniel
Written by Danny on 08/12/2017
I’d like to take this opportunity to once again reiterate the importance of the work of the station and its volunteers to the Trust.
For many of our patients, coming into hospital can be a stressful experience and whilst our staff do everything they can to put them at ease, it’s inevitable that some of these feelings will remain.
Your station and it’s volunteers provide a constant comfort I’m sure to many patients – providing them with cheerful support through the day and evening with helpful news bulletins and music.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of the organisation and truly make a difference to the lives of patients and staff. I know you all treat the money you raise very carefully to make every penny count.
A sincere thank you from me.
