The Game Of Thrones star took exception to a snap posted by Pratt on his Instagram account, showing him preparing for a gym work out, while holding a clear plastic bottle.

Avengers star Pratt posted the image to promote his partnership with Amazon, writing: “You’re probably wondering why I’m standing here, low key flexing, gazing into the distance…”

The shot showed him posing in front of a running machine, in a blue tank top while looking off camera.

Momoa, who is a vocal environmentalist and the United Nations Advocate For Oceans, commented on the post, writing: “Bro i love u but wtf on the water bottle. no single use plastic. come on”.

Fans were quick to fire back, highlighting Momoa’s air travel carbon footprint as well as suggesting Pratt may re-use the disposable bottle.

Responding to the comments, Momoa posted his own Instagram shot, showing him and Chris Pratt on a red carpet together, with Momoa’s daughter Lola and son Nakoa-Wolf.

Mamoa wrote: “BRO you know my children and I are madly in love with you and I love everything you do. I’m sorry this was received so badly today I didn’t mean for that to happen.

“I’m just very passionate about this single-use plastic epidemic. The plastic water bottles have to stop I hope u make a reusable water bottle for Amazon so we all can purchase.

“You’re an inspiration to many I’m one of them. I’ll send you a case of MANANALU. All my Aloha, Da Momoa’s”.

Mananalu is the actor’s own brand of canned water.

Pratt is yet to respond to the post, which has been liked more than 1.5 million times in 24 hours.
