Emma Stone gets engaged to SNL writer Dave McCary

Emma Stone has announced her engagement to Saturday Night Live writer Dave McCary.
McCary posted a selfie of himself and the Oscar-winning actress on Instagram, with the engagement ring close up at the front of the shot.
With a large diamond in the centre, the ring appears to be platinum with smaller diamonds around the central stone and around the loop of the band.
McCary captioned the image with a double heart emoji.
The pair have been dating for two years, after meeting about three years ago when Stone hosted SNL in 2016.
Stone, who took home the Oscar for best actress in 2017 for La La Land, performed in a spoof sketch about toys for sensitive boys, written by McCary.
McCary, 34, has received three Emmy nominations for his work on the show.
They have so far kept their relationship very low key, rarely speaking about their relationship and only appearing at public events together a couple of times.

Earlier this year they were pictured at basketball game in Los Angeles, and attended the Screen Actors Guild Awards together in January.
