Caroline Flack’s boyfriend shares loved-up picture following Love Island host’s assault charge

The boyfriend of Caroline Flack has shared a loved-up picture of the pair on social media after the TV presenter was arrested for reportedly assaulting him.
Love Island host Flack, 40, was charged on Friday with assault by beating “following a private domestic incident”, the Metropolitan Police said.
On Saturday her boyfriend Lewis Burton showed his support by posting a throwback picture of the pair on his Instagram stories.
The 27-year-old former tennis pro added a red heart emoji above the image, which showed them looking close and seemingly happily at the launch of Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park last month.
Flack was arrested in Islington, north London, following the incident at approximately 5.25am on Thursday after reports of a man being assaulted.
Police did not name the man but said he was not seriously injured.
A spokesman for Flack said: “We confirm that police attended Caroline’s home following a private domestic incident.
“She is co-operating with the appropriate people to resolve matters. We will not be making any further comment for legal reasons.”

The TV star, who presented The Xtra Factor and won Strictly Come Dancing in 2014, will appear on bail at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on 23 December.
A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We were called yesterday (Thursday 12 December) at 5.28am to a residential address in Islington.
“We treated two people at the scene and took one person to hospital.”
The presenter has recently been pictured with Burton, who now works as a model, and the couple have shared pictures with each other on their respective Instagram accounts.
She previously dated Apprentice contestant Andrew Brady, with the couple getting engaged after just a few months, but they split up shortly after.
She also famously dated Harry Styles back in 2011.
Flack got her first TV presenting break fronting the International Pepsi Chart Show, before moving on to Channel 4’s E4 Music.
In 2015 she began presenting Love Island, and has fronted the show through five series. She is due to present the first ever series of Winter Love Island in January in South Africa.
