We’re Digital Across Morecambe Bay

Bay Trust Radio is now available to more people than ever before, after launching on digital radio across North Lancashire and South Cumbria.

Anyone with a DAB+ radio can now listen to Bay Trust Radio – whether that’s at home, in the office or in the car. You may just need to rescan to find us on your station list.

John Williamson, Station Manager and President, said: “Making our service available on Digital Radio is an extremely exciting moment for our charity. Everyone involved at the station has been working tirelessly to get ready for the launch and despite some challenges over the last 18 months, we all look forward to welcoming new listeners across the area.”

“Many people may not know that Bay Trust Radio is one of the oldest radio stations in our area, starting life as the hospital broadcasting service for the Westmorland County Hospital back in 1977. Over the years we have adapted the service we offer and expanded to bring the best local radio service we can right across the area.”

The station offers a varied schedule with presenters including John Pye, Ian Timms and Andy Mitchell. The service broadcasts 24 hours a day on digital radio, with presenters from across Lancashire and Cumbria.
