Three fire engines from Garstang, Lancaster and Morecambe attended a road traffic collision involving one car on the motorway junction 33 slip road to the M6 southbound.
Firefighters used cutting equipment to extricate one casualty from the vehicle, who was taken to hospital by ambulance.
