Police are investigating an incident of sheep worrying

Cumbria Police are investigating an incident of sheep worrying, that occurred at around 4:30pm on 17 February, at Cartmel Fell.
It was reported that a border collie dog, wearing a red harness at the time of incident, was seen chasing and attacking sheep for approximately 30 minutes, no owner was seen present at the time.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 132 of 17 February. Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers, completely anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
