Mazuma Mobile shortlisted for leading national award

Morecambe based Mazuma Mobile has been shortlisted for a leading national award.
The company, which is one of the UK’s best-rated and largest mobile phone recycling service providers, has been shortlisted in the Secondary Market Provider category of the Mobile News Awards.
The Mobile News Awards is the UK mobile channel’s biggest awards event judged by impartial, independent experts and the finalists were scored by 15 judges who spent a day judging 112 entries.
Head of Marketing for Mazuma, Graham Elleray, said: “We are delighted to have been nominated for this award in a new category for providers who deal in the recovery, processing, and re-circulation of devices
“Like most businesses, we have had to work extra hard to overcome the challenges of the pandemic and I am proud of the developments we have made to provide an even better service for our customers.
“We regularly carry out customer focus groups to make improvements to our service for them and for the environment and we are really pleased to see that work recognised.’’
Mobile News editorial director Ian White said: “The quality of entries was amazing. It is quite humbling to see how much time and effort people put into their entries and how much they want to win. If you’re a winner on the night you can be proud that you went up against some astounding submissions.”
The awards will be held on May 19 in London.
