Fire at Royal Lancaster Infirmary

Four fire engines and an aerial ladder platform appliance from Lancaster, Morecambe and Hornby attended a building fire at Ashton Road, Lancaster.
The fire involved the roof space of Royal Lancaster Infirmary Medical one unit.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters worked to ensure the surroundings were safe by removing damaged materials.
Crews were in attendance for one hour and fifteen minutes.
