Drug warning issued in Kendal area

Police in Kendal are warning local drug users that they are aware of a current supply of unusually strong crack cocaine and heroin in circulation.
Officers have become aware that these Class A controlled drugs being sold in Kendal at the present time are being described by users as much stronger than the drugs previously available in recent months.
We would remind people tempted to use these substances that they are not only illegal but an overdose, even in an experienced user, can be potentially fatal.
