Barrow man charged in connection with Church Street sexual assault

A man has been charged in connection with a number of sexual offences.
Jeffrey Ronald Richardson, aged 36, of Ramsden Street, Barrow-in-Furness, has been charged with the following offences:
· Attempt rape of a female over 18
· Sexual assault by penetration of a female over 18
· Sexual assault by touching of a female over 18.
The offences relate to an incident on Church Street, Barrow, on Friday 6th October.
Richardson will appear before Furness Magistrates’ Court Monday (9th October).
