Appeal following burglary at Shell garage

Officers are appealing for information following a burglary at a rural garage near Kendal overnight.
Thieves gained entry to the store at the Shell garage on the northbound side of the A591 at Helsington before accessing the stand-alone ATM inside.
The burglary took place between 2am and 2.30am today (17 Feb, 2018). A quantity of cash was taken
Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in this area or who has any information which might assist the investigation is urged to contact police referencing incident 58 of 17 February 2018.
