Happy and Healthier Sunday Fun Day

Do your children enjoy sports and games? Or do they prefer quieter craft activities? Bring your family to the Sunday Fun Day and you will find something to cater for all tastes.

The children can play lots of different sports such as cricket, rounders and table tennis. They can learn outdoor crafts at the Woodland Wonder Forest School and for the energetic there will be a bouncy castle.

Creative little-ones can get stuck in to the recycling crafts and messy church. Kendal Leisure Centre is offering family swim vouchers on the day so bring your costumes and towels.

There will be free health MOTs for the grown-ups.

Professionals from lots of organisations will be available and the leisure centre will be packed with information stalls and interactive activities. A separate quiet zone will be dedicated for discussions on wellbeing and relationships.

No need to register before the event, just come along, sign in on the day and then go off and have loads of fun!

Under 14’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Interested in hosting a stall? There are still spaces available to host a stall at the health fair.

The aim of the event is to promote happiness and healthiness. We encourage stall holders to run something interactive or host an activity where appropriate. An activity will generate a good response from the children and can open up discussion with them or their family members. We are open to ideas for stalls or activities and we’d love to hear from you if you would like to be part of the day.
