Mystery as visitors repair vandalised Silverdale seat

Last year vandals in the village of Silverdale ripped two benches from a footpath at Silverdale cove.

And residents this week were delighted to find that the benches had been repaired by what some local councillors have described as ‘Campers with conscience’

One local resident who confronted the suspected repairers about campers who had left rubbish in the past described the act of kindness as a redeeming act for those who claim all campers are ‘rebels’
