Concern mounting for woman, 33, missing from home in Lancaster

Written by on 24/03/2017

Lancashire Police is becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a woman who has gone missing from home in Lancaster.

Thu Thi Do, 33, was last seen at her home address on Quarry Road at around 11pm last night (March 23rd). She left the address and has not been seen or heard from since.

We are now appealing for anybody who has seen her, or knows where she may be, to contact us as soon as possible.

Sergeant Richard Tredennick, of Lancaster Police, said: “This is extremely out of character for Thu and we are understandably very worried about her.

“We would urge anybody who has seen her or knows of her whereabouts to contact us as soon as possible. Maybe you were out late last night walking your dog, or returning home from a night out, and saw someone matching Thu’s description.

“If you have any information, please get in touch.”

Thu is described as Vietnamese, around 5ft 2ins tall, of slim to medium build, with shoulder-length, dark brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a cream-coloured t-shirt, a long, navy blue Puffa jacket with a hood, green tracksuit bottoms and black boots.

She speaks enough English to ‘get by’ but might struggle in conversation.

Anybody with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log number 195 of March 24th.
