AutoTrack Pro combines music and link databases with advanced clocks, configurable scheduling rules, advanced clock assignments and a whole host of other tools to provide a truly professional music and link scheduling system that people can actually understand.
 
Scoop Capture V3,

Scoop Capture - The job of Scoop Capture is to capture and sort text and audio data from a broad range of sources. Able to capture text from RS232, file and web sources, Scoop Capture categorises the incoming stories (either based on the news service's own categories or by watching for 'catch' words to aid categorisation) and check them for key words that may be important to your station. Scoop Capture also maintains your stations news database, automatically removing expired stories and streamlining the news content database for optimal performance.

Scoop Edit V3,
Scoop Edit - Scoop Edit is used browse and edit the audio and text stories in your news database and also to create new stories from scratch. The integrated audio editor allows you to record and edit audio, attach it to text stories. The competed stories can be arranged in to bulletins ready for reading 'live on air' with Scoop Edit displaying scripts on screen and cueing the audio for you automatically. In addition, you can also publish your completed news bulletins directly to your stations web site creating a locally focused news portal without adding to your journalists workload.

In addition to managing news stories and audio cuts, Scoop Edit also includes a powerful but intuitive contacts database and web resource database allowing your journalists to manage all aspects of the newsroom from a single application.

What is Local Voice Tracking?

At a glance, the Voice / Segue Editor for Myriad allows you to enhance your automated output by adding realistic voice links to the pre-scheduled music and audio content. In practice, the Voice / Segue Editor has a much greater impact on the sound of your station and the way you use Myriad.

The term automation is commonly used to describe the practice of using a PC (or other suitable device) to playout music, jingles, links and other audio content without the need for a human operator. Automation started as a simple way of filling the periods of time that could not be covered by live presenters but as the technology developed and the automation became more advanced, many stations began to see automation as playing a key role in the economics of modern radio. Myriad has one of the most powerful automation systems in the world and is able to take pre-scheduled program content and dynamically alter it to fit around time critical events such as 'top of the hour news'. This combined with its ability to switch outside sources and intelligently work around problems it encounters makes it an ideal tool for any station looking to automate some or all of their output.

RVT (remote voice tracking)

What is Remote Voice Tracking?

In addition to local segue editing and voice tracking capabilities, the Voice / Segue Editor Module also adds the Remote Voice Tracking (RVT) Server application to your Myriad system to allow you to configure your system to accept remote voice tracking sessions from authorised users connecting with the Remote Voice Tracking Client. This revolutionary advancement allows the remote user to perform a number of tasks that would usually require a trip to the station.

What Is PowerLog?

PowerLog is a multi-channel software based audio and data logging system. In fact it was the first system of it's kind in the UK and is now the most commonly used system in UK commercial radio. The basic idea is that PowerLog records one or more incoming audio feeds and keeps them on the hard disk for a set time before finally removing them, thus creating a maintenance free, rolling log.

Audessence ALPS-1

A tamper-proof solution designed to solve audio level problems - completely!  Digital, cost-effective and flexible, the ALPS-1 provides control of perceived loudness, dynamic range and peak level. 
 

Silence Detection

Sometimes things do go wrong and if they do the station can fall silent. We use software to detect if there is silence for more than two minutes. If that happens an automated failsafe service will start playing and an email alert will be sent to various people to alert them of the fault. The email also contains screen shots of the automation playout system showing the last thing it was doing before it went silent.

News On The Hour

Listeners to Bay Trust Radio can keep up to date with national and international news courtesy of Sky News service which we subscribe to. SKY radio news provides a 2 minute news bulletin on the hour, every hour. This is delivered to our studio live from London via a special satellite receiver and the automated system can bring the news in automatically.

Uninterruptible Power

Being in a hospital environment there are always things which can affect our power supply, generator tests or pre planned maintenance for example. All essential equipment is maintained by four UPS’s. These can keep the station running until the main power is restored. Our UPS’s are fed by the generator which means the equipment stays online the whole time.
